Joel is a Tax Manager at P2. Since receiving his Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, he has been working almost exclusively in the public accounting sector. After a couple of stints with larger firms, Joel came to realize that he enjoyed working with small family businesses where he could have a more personal relationship with his clients. He found just that when he joined us here at P2.
Joel doesn’t feel that cookie cutter approaches to tax planning and compliance are practical, so he uses his experience with corporate and individual tax, planning, and research to develop a unique approach for each client.
When not working, Joel enjoys spending time with his wife and three stepdaughters, music, playing bass guitar with his church’s worship team, cycling and reading. He’s also a big Star Wars fan and a firm believer that Han shot first.
